Olde Towne Kolaches in Houston, Texas is the best place in Towne to get authentic Czech and Texas kolaches. This family owned and operated, local Houston bakery is known for its traditional Czech flavors, such as poppy seed, cream cheese and fruit-filled flavors. The Texas kolaches, also known as Klobasniky, are filled with specialty meats, such as Kiolbassa smoked sausage, chicken and beef.

Olde Towne Kolaches has won many awards, such as receiving First Place ribbons in the State of Texas at the Caldwell Kolache Festival for poppy seed, sausage, cherry and cherry cream cheese. Houstonia Magazine also named Olde Towne Kolaches as one of Houston’s favorite kolache spots.

Olde Towne Kolaches began making its first kolaches in the 1980’s by the original owner, Tommy Bambrick, a well-known Houston entrepreneur and educator. The tradition was passed down to the current owners, Lisa and Craig Knappick. We strive to make Houston’s "Best Kolaches in Towne" fresh every morning- authentic, scratch-made, hand-rolled, one-at-a-time in our open kitchen where you can watch the kolache magic happen!
